The Department of Decentralization (DOD) is a Berlin-based collective advocating for decentralized, open-source technologies. Formed after the ethberlin 2018 event, DOD focuses on education, community support, and awareness of decentralization. Comprised of around 24 members, DOD emphasizes the importance of finding the right governance model and supports local chapter formation. Aiming to enhance its collaborative decision-making framework, DOD plans to launch a DAO on Ethereum by Q2 2019.
