Blockchain at USC is an academic and community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering education and engagement within the blockchain and crypto space. Run by students at the University of Southern California, it provides a comprehensive platform for learning, collaboration, and innovation in blockchain technology, smart contracts, and cryptocurrencies. Through lectures, workshops, and a variety of events, the initiative aims to deepen understanding and encourage project development among students, professionals, and enthusiasts alike. Since its inception in 2018, Blockchain@USC has grown to host a community of over 300 members with diverse backgrounds in crypto, conducting weekly meetings and connecting members with industry professionals from leading organizations like Coinbase, Kraken, and Polygon. By bridging the gap between academia and the industry, Blockchain at USC supports the development of a skilled workforce ready for the web3 ecosystem and aims to be a constantly developing platform for student-led blockchain projects and innovations.
